Maintenance Tech 3rd Shift DirectHire

Pay rate : $30$35 based on experience($2.30 shift differential)

With minimumor limited guidance in a team environment responsible forlearning / assisting / performing maintenance and repair tasks of acomplex scope and nature related to the facility equipment andproduction equipment.

Establish and maintain apreventive maintenance program.

Examines situations anddetermines repair remedies.

Dismantles and repairs wornor broken equipment of all kinds including machinetools.

May be required to make replacementparts.

Assembles and installs plant equipment / machinetools.

Performs all equipment and facility generalmaintenance functions such as carpentry electrical plumbingpainting and welding.

Troubleshoot / Repair facilityequipment such as compressors air conditioning heatingetc.

Troubleshoot hydraulics and electrical / electroniccircuitry.

Repair or replace defective parts orequipment utilizing manuals drawings specs and other verbal orwritten instructions

Responsibility in assisting withEnvironmental Health and Safety efforts within thefacility.

Facilitates the repair and maintenance offacility equipment through the use ofsubcontractors.

Operate arc and acetylene weldingequipment.

Assist / move facility equipment according toplant layouts.

Coordinates and plans the movement offacility equipment.

Operate a towmotor.

Complete training programrequirements / certifications in timely manner.

Otherresponsibilities as required and / ordirected.

Qualifications

Musthave a high school diploma or equivalent.

Mustdemonstrate good interpersonal skills and be willing to workeffectively as a participative team member.

Must haveworking knowledge of computers and computer software to operateprograms create reports and spreadsheets.

Must possessgood manual dexterity reliable judgment and possess a willingnessto learn.

Required to lift up to 50lbs.

Aminimum of 12 years of maintenance related experience.
